Description

Liana Nissim, an eminence in French studies, dedicated her intense research activity to the XIX century, and especially to Gustave Flaubert and Stephane Mallarme. Her studies also focused on the francopone literatures of Africa and Quebec, which she introduced in Italy and publicized internationally. This trio of volumes “La grace de montrer son ame dans le vetement”. Scrivere di tessuti, abiti e accessori illustrates and examines in depth, in multiple directions, a recurring theme in her works. The scientific community, who shared with her the passion for research and the dedication to academic life, wants to pay homage to her with these volumes and their richness in methodologies and critical perspectives.
