Angela Biscaldi

 

Angela Biscaldi is an associate professor in Cultural Anthropology at the Department of Social and political science of the State University in Milan. She holds courses of Cultural Anthropology at the Bachelor’s Degree in Social science for Globalisation and Media social history at the Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Society. She is Head of the degree course in Social science for Globalisation and a member of the teaching board of the Doctorate in Philosophy and Human sciences of the State University in Milan. She works on communication ethnography, in particular on the performative, agentive e indexical aspects of educational processes. Among her latest publications: Antropologia dei social media. Comunicare nel mondo globale (Carocci 2019); Una settimana senza social. Per un’educazione digitale (San Paolo 2020); with Vincenzo Matera, Ethnography. A Theoretically Oriented Practice (Palgrave, 2021).
