Margarita Pérez Pulido, PhD in Documentation from the University of Salamanca, is professor at the University of Extremadura. Visiting professor at the University of Torino, with stays in other foreign universities (France, United Kingdom, Belgium, Italy), is author of handbooks on librarianship and library management and planning, and of numerous articles on information ethics in national and international journals. She is a member of the Office of Social Responsibility of the University of Extremadura, and of SEDIC ethics working group for the elaboration of the code of ethics of Spanish LIS professionals.
