Mario Del Pero is Professor of International History at Sciences Po in Paris. His most recent publications include Libertà e Impero. Gli Stati Uniti e il Mondo, 1776-2011 (2017, 3rd ed.) and The Eccentric Realist. Henry Kissinger and the Shaping of American Foreign Policy (2010). His latest book is entitled Era Obama. Dalla speranza del cambiamento all’elezione di Trump (2017). Before joining Sciences Po, he taught at the University of Bologna for 12 years. He has also taught at New York University and Columbia University in New York. He has held fellowships at the Kluge Center of the Library of Congress in Washington, the European University Institute and the Tamiment Center at New York University.
