Rossana Morriello

 

Rossana Morriello holds a Ph.D. in Book and Documentation Studies from Sapienza Universityof Rome and is a researcher in Library and Information Science at the University of Florence, Italy, where she teaches courses in Library Science, Digital Libraries, Cataloguing, and Metadata. She has extensively published as an author or co-author of numerous books, articles, and contributions to collective volumes and conference proceedings, including works on research assessment, peer review, open science. Her research interests primarily focus on digital libraries, data librarianship, scientific communication, and issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability in culture and libraries. She serves on the scientific committees of several journals and is a member of various learned societies and national and international study groups within the field of library science.
